The Father/Daughter Summit is a powerful, two-day, relationship building experience designed to strengthen bonds, restore connection, and equip fathers and daughters with tools that last a lifetime. This summit goes beyond a conference, it’s a sacred pause, a celebration of love and leadership, and a launchpad for intentional fatherhood and confident daughterhood.

Furthering Fathering is excited to bring Empower the Block: Back-to-School Community Giveback to East Point on July 26, 2026, hosted by our partner Royal Roots Barbershop and powered by YKJ EmpowerU Nation. This event is more than free school supplies and haircuts. It's about bringing together families, small businesses, service providers, and community partners to create opportunities, strengthen connections, and build capacity where it's needed most. Through Empower the Block, we are committed to serving fathers and parents through capacity building, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and lasting community transformation by creating future spaces for emotional wellness, trauma-informed care and family stability. Too often, teens impacted by a parent's incarceration carry emotions and challenges they don't always know how to express. Through our ReConnect Program, we're creating a safe virtual space where young people can connect with peers, learn healthy coping skills, understand their feelings, manage anger and big emotions, and build confidence for the future. We are asking our community partners, schools, counselors, faith leaders, and youth-serving organizations to help us identify and refer teens who could benefit from this free opportunity. Together, we can remind these young people that they are not alone, they matter, and there is hope ahead.

Fostering Family Leaders (FFL) is a parent leadership development program designed to strengthen families by increasing protective factors, communication skills, and community engagement. Through guided dialogue, education, and peer support, parents and caregivers build confidence, resilience, and the capacity to lead their families toward stability, academic success, and generational well-being.
